2024 VISA X PArIS OLYMPICS
GRAPHIC DESIGNER/2D designer
Visa is the primary means of payment at the Olympics. The goal was to take the brand that Visa created for the games, and apply it to all messaging and stores. Design studies were done with the Visa Olympic Brand to expand into an experiential space. Visa expanded their market during the games by nearly 30 percent.
Designers at GMR worked on Megastores and photo opportunities, POS kits and large graphics were created in order to support Visa’s main messaging. Messaging needed to be in both French and English on the same tactics.
Work was done in collaboration with other designers, under the direction of the Sr. Art Director and Director, to create multiple unified spaces.

ONSITE RETAIL MESSAGING EXAMPLES
Athletes were used in conjunction with messaging to create work that was visually interesting but provided clear direction. Large graphics were used in the megastores and throughout Paris to integrate Visa’s messaging with the city.
Movable tactics were created and placed in areas where limited Visa branding was present.
